The recent corporate governance issues at City Developments (CDL) have been resolved, according to a new statement from executive chairman Kwek Leng Beng. After a court hearing on February 26, the two directors that were “irregularly and hastily appointed” have agreed to not exercise their powers until further notice from the court. These two directors are Jennifer Duong Young and Wong Su Yen, who both hold positions as independent non-executive directors. These appointments were made through directors’ resolutions in writing.
